MEDA Ireland have recently launched a new product on the Irish market called Molaxole. Molaxole is indicated for the treatment of constipation and faecal impaction. The active ingredient is Macrogol 3350 which is clinically proven as the most effective laxative available. This is also the active ingredient in Movicol. Molaxole is available from pharmacists by prescription only. It is available in 20 and 30 sachet packs. Molaxole is suitable for persons over the age of 12 years.

Colifoam® (hydrocortisone acetate)
Cortisone preparation in foam, provides an anti-inflammatory effect. Applied topically for distal ulcerative colitis and particularly for topical ulcerative proctitis (ulcerated inflammation of the rectum).

Proctofoam® (hydrocortisone acetate, pramoxine hydrochloride)
Cortisone preparation for pain, itching, irritation, and inflammation linked to anorectal complaints.
